ABOUT ME

Hello.
My name is Olga. My training in dressmaking and curtain making began at an early age. My grandmother was a dressmaker and she was my first teacher. Also, two of my aunts are also engaged in sewing and repairing clothes. Whilst at school both at primary and secondary level I completed many sewing courses as part of my school curriculum. I did not regard repairing clothes as a business but rather more as my hobby.
Since coming to Ireland, I have found that more and more people have become aware of my hobby. I already have regular customers.
At the moment, I am working on the manufacture of Romanian curtains for a client Yvonne Connolly. I already made curtains for her living room. As a result I received a further order for five windows in her dining room.
I am a member of the Irish Neonatal Health Alliance. We make baby cloths for little babies who die prematurely.
